AppDev Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (20 CD - $2,495)

http://www.hallogram.com/appdev/appdev.gif
This course, You'll learn about the features that are available in SQL Server; how to design and create a database; and how to build basic queries using Transact-SQL, the language of SQL Server. Then, you'll learn how to build effective views, stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions, using Transact-SQL. You'll learn about the new enhancements to the Transact-SQL programming language including improved support for error handling and hierarchical queries, and programmers can now use .NET languages like C# and Visual Basic to build database objects.

SQL Server 2005 includes a rich set of tools that go beyond the basics of querying and manipulating data. You'll learn how to take advantage of the new, user-friendly management console that integrates both authoring and administrative tasks. You'll learn how to take advantage of SQL Server's tools for analyzing and tuning your databases. You'll also learn about integration services, implementing security, and Microsoft's new Business Intelligence (BI) suite.

In this course, you will learn:
-Install and configure Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
-Understand basic database design principles and how to implement them in SQL Server.
-Learn the fundamentals of writing Transact-SQL queries that retrieve or modify data.
-Understand the differences between view, stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions.
-Perform calculations with Visual Basic and Visual C# code rather than T-SQL.
-Use the new Common Table Expressions for creating hierarchical queries.
-Understand the SQL Server security model.
-Configure and tune SQL Server, and monitor database activity.
-Support distributed users by implementing SQL Server Replication.
-Publish data to the Web, and take advantage of SQL Servers rich support for XML.
-Understand Business Intelligence to add reporting and analysis capabilities.

Prerequisites: To get the most out of the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 course, you should have a solid understanding of relational databases. No particular programming experience is required, but the course is taught from a developer's perspective.

Course includes 90+ hours of total training time...
-20 modules of training
-Over 30 hours of media run time
-Over 1100 pages of printable courseware
-Step-by-step hands-on-labs
-Sample code

XSS Exploits: Cross Site Scripting Attacks and Defense

http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/I/51TRAAZC73L._SS500_.jpg
Book Description
Cross Site Scripting Attacks starts by defining the terms and laying out the ground work. It assumes that the reader is familiar with basic web programming (HTML) and JavaScript. First it discusses the concepts, methodology, and technology that makes XSS a valid concern. It then moves into the various types of XSS attacks, how they are implemented, used, and abused. After XSS is thoroughly explored, the next part provides examples of XSS malware and demonstrates real cases where XSS is a dangerous risk that exposes internet users to remote access, sensitive data theft, and monetary losses. Finally, the book closes by examining the ways developers can avoid XSS vulnerabilities in their web applications, and how users can avoid becoming a victim. The audience is web developers, security practitioners, and managers.
*XSS Vulnerabilities exist in 8 out of 10 Web sites
*The authors of this book are the undisputed industry leading authorities
*Contains independent, bleeding edge research, code listings and exploits that can not be found anywhere else

Database Design Using Entity-Relationship Diagrams (Foundations of Database Design)

Database Design Using Entity-Relationship Diagrams (Foundations of Database Design) Price: $63.96
# Hardcover: 264 pages # Publisher: Auerbach Publications; 1 edition (June 27, 2003) # Language: English # ISBN-10: 0849315484 # ISBN-13: 978-0849315480 Product Description Entity-relationship (E-R) diagrams are time-tested models for database development well-known for their usefulness in mapping out clear database designs. Also commonly known is how difficult it is to master them. With this comprehensive guide, database designers and developers can quickly learn all the ins and outs of E-R diagramming to become expert database designers. Because E-R diagrams are so fundamental to database design, this book is also an indispensable text for teaching computer science students the basics of database development. Database Design Using Entity-Relationship Diagrams clarifies E-R diagramming by defining it in terms of requirements (end user requests) and specifications (designer feedback to those requests). The book explains how open communication between designers and end users is critical to developing usable, easy-to-understand E-R diagrams that model both requirements and specifications. The authors explain, in an intuitive, informal manner, how to develop an E-R diagram, how to map it to a database, and how the resulting database can be tested. This definitive guide is a basic component for any database course, and is also an invaluable reference that database professionals can use throughout their careers. IBM Redbooks: Ip Network Design Guide

Ip Network Design Guide
Ibm | 1999-06 | ISBN 0738413364 | PDF | Pages 322 | 2.01 MB

This redbook identifies some of the basic design aspects of IP networks and explains how to deal with them when implementing new IP networks or redesigning existing IP networks. This project focuses on internetwork and transport layer issues such as address and name management, routing, network management, security, load balancing and performance, design impacts of the underlying networking hardware, remote access, quality of service, and platform-specific
issues. Application design aspects, such as e-mail, gateways, Web integration, etc., are discussed briefly where they influence the design of an IP network.

After a general discussion of the aforementioned design areas, this redbook provides three examples for IP network design, depicting a small, medium and
large network. You are taken through the steps of the design and the reasoning as to why things are shown one way instead of another. Of course, every network is different and therefore these examples are not intended to generalize. Their main purpose is to illustrate a systematic approach to an IP network design given a specific set of requirements, expectations, technologies and budgets.

This redbook will help you design, create or change IP networks implementing the basic logical infrastructures required for a successful operation of such networks. This book does not describe how to deploy corporate applications such as e-mail, e-commerce, Web server or distributed databases, just to name a few.

Wrox Professional IIS-7 Mar2008

Wiley Publishing, Inc. | ISBN 978-0-470-09782-3 | Author: Ken Schaefer,Jeff Cochran, Scott Forsyth,Rob Baugh, Mike Everest & Dennis Glendenning | English | PDF | 843 Pages | 16.40 MB (RAR - 10.00 MB)

Introduction
Windows Server 2008 is the first update to Microsofts server operating system in nearly five years, and among the major changes is the new Internet Information Services 7.0, which probably marks the biggest departure from previous IIS versions that we have ever seen. Previous recent releases of IIS have concentrated on improving security and reliability and thus have mostly involved changes under the hood. For administrators and developers, adaptation to the new products had been relatively simple. With IIS 7.0, however, Microsoft has fundamentally changed the way the product works, with new configuration, delegated administration, and extensibility options designed to address perceived feature weakness compared to competing products. At the same time, IIS 7.0 now has new, real-time diagnostic and troubleshooting features and absorbs functionality from ASP.NET (such as caching and forms-based authentication), making this available across all requests. With the addition of a brand-new FTP server and FastCGI support, IIS 7.0 leapfrogs its major competitors in feature and flexibility options and indicates a clear effort by Microsoft to capture more of the public- facing web server market, in addition to its existing strong presence in the corporate sphere. For administrators and developers, the fundamental changes in the way that IIS 7.0 works, is administered, and can be extended mean that the knowledge required to fully take advantage of IIS 7.0s new features is substantially greater than in previous versions. The authors have focused on capturing the very best of the new features in IIS 7.0 and how you can take advantage of them. The writing styles vary from chapter to chapter because some of the foremost experts on IIS 7.0 have contributed to this book. Drawing on our expertise in deployment, hosting, development, and enterprise operations, we believe that this book captures much of what todays IIS administrators need in their day-to-day work.

Who This Book Is For
This book is aimed at IIS administrators (or those who need to ramp up quickly in anticipation of having to administer IIS). What differentiates this book is that it doesnt just focus on features and how to configure them using a GUI administrative tool. Instead, we explain how features work (for example, how Kerberos authentication actually works under the covers) so that you can better troubleshoot issues when something goes wrong. Additionally, since most administrators need to be able to automate common procedures, we have included specific chapters on programmatic administration and command-line tools as well as code snippets (using AppCmd.exe, WMI, and .NET) throughout the book. Plugins Directory From WordPress

Now, WordPress finally has their own plugins directory. If you are a developer of WordPress plugin, you can submit your plugin there to get more exposure. If you wish to add more functions to your WordPress blog, you can search through different plugins there and install the suitable ones to your blog.

As what WordPress blog claims:

For users, this means:

* There is now a central place to find and download WordPress plugins.
* You can get a much better idea about plugin quality and compatibility from the site.
* In the future you’ll be able to get notification inside of WordPress about plugins you use that have updates.

For developers, you now have:

* Exposure to the millions of people who visit WordPress.org every month.
* Free SVN hosting for GPL plugin development at wp-plugins.org. (Like always.)
* Automatic download packages and free hosting of those.
* Statistics about how many people are using and downloading your plugins.
* Prominent links to your homepage, and the ability to specify a Paypal donation link from your plugin page.

Automatically Backup Your WordPress

Today, I found an useful WordPress backup plugin where it can help to backup your WordPress database automatically. First, you must have WordPress Database Backup plugin activated in your WordPress. If you don’t have this plugin, you can download it HERE, install and activate it first.

Step By Step Guide:

1. Download another plugin from HERE( wp-cron ).
2. Install and activate it.( wp-cron.php file only )
3. In your WordPress panel, go to “Manage > Backup” tab.
4. Under Scheduled Backup, choose Daily.
5. Type in the email. This email will be used to receive the Backup file.
6. Click “Submit” button.

Now, you can receive the backup file in daily basis. So, you don’t have to worry forgetting backup your WordPress.

Problem you may face:
You may get warning message saying that your directory is NOT writable. If you get this warning, you just have to set your wp-content directory permission to 777. Then, your problem will be solved. If you have further problem, you can leave them in my comment area. I will try to help you to solve them.

Must have Firefox Extensions for Affiliate Marketers

Top Firefox Extensions

If you’re a full time affiliate marketer there’s a very good chance that you probably don’t use internet explorer anymore. There’s a number of reasons most people switch, but the most common, is the lack of plugin functionality & 3rd party integration.

Firefox has really embraced these types of applications & allows you to integrate them seamlessly into your regular workflow, helping you to do tasks or use functions that the original developers didn’t hardcode.

I use quite a number of Firefox Extensions that really make a huge difference to my workflow & productivity, but the aim of this post to be the definitive list of Firefox Plugins for Affiliate Marketers:

Foxmarks

Foxmarks

When you have multiple computers & workstations it can become painful to always keep your bookmarks in sync, especially when you’ve got hundreds of websites. Foxmarks will store all of your firefox bookmarks externally & then keep them updated & in sync no matter where you go (provided you have the extension installed on the computer). This means that the bookmarks on all of my computers always match, a massive time saver for me.

Greasemonkey

Greasemonkey

Greasemonkey is an extension for Firefox that allows you to write or download scripts that change how web pages behave or look. There’s literally thousands of user written scripts that do all sorts of things from Downloading Youtube Videos to removing the annoying parts of Myspace (I thought it was all annoying though? ;)) or showing you the Link Data in Google’s Webmaster Tools.

Google Global

This extension allows you to view the Google Search Results from different locations around the world, right down to regions, cities & postcodes. Extremely useful if you’re running PPC campaigns outside your Geo Location & also if you want to see what your international competitors are doing.

SEO for Firefox

SEO For Firefox

I’ve talked about how much I like this plugin before but if you’re planning on quickly analysing a particular keyword or niche or any other search results then this plugin is gold. It allows you to quickly see the inbound links to a domain or page, get an idea idea if the page has pagerank & also plenty of other features.

Search Status

Get an quick snapshot of Page Rank & Alexa Rank when viewing a particular page. Good for quickly analysing the popularity of a particular website/page.

Web Developer Extension

Web Developer Extension Firefox

This is a very useful extension that allows you to manipulate many of the design related features within a page. You can disable Java, CSS, Referrers & Meta Redirects; Clear Cookies & disable Cookies; Resize pages & elements & also manipulate forms. Very very useful.

User Agent Switcher

Switch between user agents within firefox to see how web pages react. Useful for getting into areas that only allow Googlebot (naughty naughty) & a few other things.

Live HTTP Headers

Display the HTTP Headers from a website in Real Time. This can be used for debugging, to see what cookies are being set & to check for redirects.

Roboform

I use Roboform to fill in forms & also fill in signup details for new websites. Saves quite a considerable amount of time if you set it up correctly.

Screengrab

All webmasters need to take screenshots once in a while. I particularly love this extension because you can grab an entire page as a screenshot.

Gspace

Gspace is a great extension that turns your 2GB of space in Gmail into your very own file storage area. Really useful for keeping backups & also transferring files between locations quickly & securely.

Gmail Manager

Manage multiple Gmail accounts from one extension. This extension is particularly useful if you’ve migrated completely to gmail, outlined in one of my previous posts.

XML Password Exporter

If you like to manage all your passwords via Keepass then this tool will allow you to export all your Firefox passwords to xml or csv format which you can then use to import into Keepass. Nifty. Now all we need is an extension for Firefox that integrates with KeePass (hint hint).

Autocopy

Just like in Linux this extension allows you to select any text & have it copied automatically to the clipboard.

Ref Spoof

Fake your referrer easily. This is pretty good if you want to catch someone out who’s cloaking or test/hack other referrer related things.

SEO Tools to Help You Make Money Online

There are tons of tools out there that can help you optimize your website and maximize your profits. John says that there are really only two critical components to having a successful website (or blog). First, you need to generate traffic. Second, you need to monetize that traffic. Over the course of this review, we’ll have a look at three tools that address both of these core areas.

Spying on the Competition

Have you ever had a burning suspicion that the person who runs one website is also the same person that runs something else? If the sites are hosted on different servers and have different WHOIS information, site ownership can be pretty well masked from the public. Even so, most webmasters who specialize in MFA (Made for AdSense) sites still use the same Google AdSense account across their entire portfolio. And AdsSpy can do that cross-referencing for you.

[seo-adsspy]

AdsSpy.com current tracks over 400,000 Google AdSense domains, as well as numerous accounts from AdBrite, Chitika, YPN, Kontera, and more. In effect, you can spy on the competition and see what other projects they may have running in the wings. For example, by throwing www.johnchow.com into the search field, I am able to discover that he uses the same AdSense account on thetechzone.com and laptopgamers.com. Most of you know about TTZ, but did you know about Laptop Gamers?

The basic report does not provide all of the information. Instead, it will only show how many domains (and subdomains) are associated with a particular publisher ID. To gain access to the full report, you’ll need to a pay. You can either order based on the number of reports you need or you can get unlimited access for a certain number of days. Prices range from $4.95 for a single report to $199.95 for 180 days of premium access.

A Reverse Index of Google

There are probably certain keywords that you are trying to target on your blog. For example, John has used a few initiatives to get rank for “make money online” and “root of all evil”. These strategies are for when you already know which keywords you want to target. With SeoDigger, “you can find out for which keywords your site ranks high enough to be in Google Top 20.”

[seo-seodigger]

In many ways, this is Google in reverse. When regular search engines, you pump type in the search term and it finds websites for you. With SeoDigger, you enter a website and shows which keywords are ranking the best for it. This valuable SEO tool also displays the keyword popularity as calculated by Wordtracker and Overture. All data can be exported via CSV.

Aside from the entertainment value — you’d be surprised by some of the search terms for which your site ranks in Google — there are plenty of SEO benefits to a tool like SeoDigger. It probably makes more sense to improve your ranking on terms that you already reach the first page of Google than trying to start from scratch with new keywords altogether.

The free service lets you look up the rankings for a single page and the number of queries is limited to just five per hour. By registering with SeoDigger, you can check for results across an entire domain, seeing if any internal pages are ranking well with Google. Upgrading to a premium account provides even further benefits.

Shaking the Room for IE and Firefox Browsers

[seo-quake]

As if SeoDigger and AdsSpy weren’t enough, the same developers have come up with SeoQuake as well. This is a toolbar and series of plug-ins for both Firefox and Internet Explorer users. When activated, you can instantly see the Google PageRank, number of indexed pages, incoming links, and so on of any given page. One of the more interesting SEO plug-ins included lets you sort Google search results according to different parameters. You can list them based on PageRank, for example, instead of using Google’s default algorithm.

Combining SeoQuake with SeoDigger with AdsSpy, you should be well-equipped for the world of making money online. Now if only the rest of us could figure out the John Chow effect, we’d be set!

BritePic - Advertising On Images

I think everyone should know what is AdBrite. Recently, AdBrite just launched a new advertising program where you can put advertisement on images - BritePic. And, the revenue is based on how people will pay for the advertisement through AdBrite.

I love the idea. And, I think that it’s cool to share it with everyone here. And, it’s like:

The old way we put an image:

britepic1.jpg

/yourpic.jpg”>

How BritePic put an image:

britepic2.jpg

So, it doesn’t involve very complicated coding. You just have to add a few lines to put advertisement on your images. BritePic does provide a very handy HTML generator too.

Other than showing ad in your image, BritePic also provides many functions like Zooming, RSS Subscription, Logo Branding and etc.

So, I think that BritePic is cool for bloggers as another income source. If you are publishing blog that has lot of images, you should use BritePic to monetize your blog. But, BritePic only supports jpeg images only. So, if you are a frequent user of png images, then you have to convert them first. This is quite annoying actually.

AdBrite to Sell Ads on Facebook

Online ad network AdBrite announced that it would begin selling ad units on a variety of Facebook applications.

The new sub-network of applications includes the popular iLike application, through which music fans express their tastes, and Fight Club, which lets Facebook users virtually square off. In total AdBrite says it can offer advertisers presence on over Facebook 100 applications, allowing brands an alternative means to access to the increasingly popular social networking platform.

AdBrite executives said that it would likely begin packaging ads on Facebook applications with similar inventory on the 70-plus other social networks it represents - including Bebo, LinkedIn, Hi5 and imeem – particularly for brands that are targeting younger consumers. In total, AdBrite’s network reaches 74 million unique users, per comScore Media Metrix.

AdBrite puts spotlight on Facebook application ads

Online advertising firm AdBrite is set to announce on Tuesday a new program to serve ads for third-party Facebook applications. Considering it a niche “channel” alongside existing AdBrite verticals, the company has launched a new Web-based interface so that Facebook application developers can join the program and make their inventories “instantly available to AdBrite’s large base of advertisers.”

The company saw it as a logical move, AdBrite co-founder Philip Kaplan said in an interview with CNET News.com. “We’ve just had a lot of Facebook applications signing up to use AdBrite,” he said, stressing that AdBrite caters to a “long tail” demographic of many smaller advertisers and Web sites. It already powers the advertisements on Facebook Platform applications as hyped-up as iLike’s music applications and as, well, viral as the “Zombies” and “Pirates” apps.

Currently, widget-focused advertising firms are limited to companies like the start-up SocialMedia, but that’s about to change, considering the kind of buzz that social-network advertising, a nascent sector of the market, has been raking in. Facebook, after all, has rapidly impending plans to unveil a massive ad strategy. According to the terms of the newly announced deal with Microsoft, the Redmond, Wash.-based megalith holds the rights to all third-party ad sales on Facebook proper, but that leaves the developer application pages free for the taking–developers are responsible for their own advertising, and can keep all of the revenue. With its new Facebook app strategy, AdBrite is trying to exploit what it sees as a fairly open niche.

Some critics still say ads will never reach their full potential on social networks–we’ll just have to see how it all unfolds.

AdBrite’s Full Page Ad Rivals Reach and Engagement Of Super Bowl Advertising

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ — As the Super Bowl shines its annual spotlight on the most high-profile buys and campaigns in television advertising, AdBrite, the Internet’s Ad Marketplace, has released figures that challenge traditional thinking about the unique value and impact of these spots.

AdBrite’s Full Page Ad format, one of the company’s signature innovations in online advertising, is now garnering average view times approaching 30 seconds per user session, with reach and engagement characteristics similar to full page ads in traditional media and the familiar 30-second TV spot. At the same time, the economics of AdBrite’s marketplace provide radically greater returns for advertisers: with AdBrite, an advertiser can purchase 79 million Full Page Ad impressions for roughly $300,000. Super Bowl advertisers pay up to $2 million to reach roughly 100 million viewers — more than six times more per impression — while reaching an audience that is only 25 percent larger.

“On Super Bowl Sunday, major brands will spend aggressively to engage what they perceive to be a uniquely large audience,” said Ignacio Fanlo, AdBrite’s CEO. “AdBrite’s Full Page Ad provides a similar opportunity for advertisers — a platform for memorable campaigning before a truly massive audience, with nearly 30 seconds of user engagement, plus full interactivity and tracking that TV spots simply can’t provide. And unlike the one-off Super Bowl telecast, AdBrite’s Full Page Ad delivers these results year-round for our interactive advertisers. With AdBrite, every day can be Super Bowl Sunday.”

AdBrite’s Full Page Ad allows advertisers to display engaging, interactive ad messages within consumers’ browsing experiences on high-quality websites. Advertisers simply upload a logo and a URL, and the result is a co-sponsored full page ad. Advertisers can easily utilize their existing website or landing page as the advertising content, allowing consumers to interact with their content just as they would if they had navigated there directly. A single click closes the ad and returns the visitor to the original session. Advertisers get exclusive visibility and full interactivity for maximum impact, as well as precise, real-time measurement and reporting on every site where the ads appear.

Major advertisers including Live Nation, Verizon, and GM have run successful Full Page Ad campaigns on the AdBrite network. In the four months since launch, over 500 million Full Page Ads have been viewed, with an average view time of 26 seconds.

More detail and an interactive demo are available on http://www.adbrite.com/fullpagead.

Make more money through Adsense Conversion

Adsense Conversion otherwise known in Google terms as CTR is the rate of impressions by the rate of clicks. A hypothetical example:
12 Clicks / 3430 Impressions = 0.35 CTR

Thankfully Google has already done the calculations for you which are displayed when you first log into your Adsense homepage.

Now as Adsense publishers, this is a significant key area you will need to aim to increase your earnings. As it against TOS it’s against Google policy to disclose your CTR, so I’m purely going to use hypothetical examples.

Conversion Rates can have many different outcomes; some of the main influences can be the types of ads that are being served:

Relevant Branded Ads
These are the type of keywords that are unique to your brand name.
For instance: Porsche’s 911 GT3 Turbo
Ads that will appear that contain “Porsche 911 Turbo” will generally have a good conversion rate.

Competitor Advertisers
Competitions can compete for your keywords, this means that you can have a website about Luxurious Porsche’s but ads from your local competitor will be replaced with Mercedes Advertisements.

Information Advertisements
These are the keywords that will describe your product. When your selling BMW rims and ads appear providing information, the conversion rate will depend on the users knowledge of that product.

Associated Ads
You’ve got a page dedicated to buying mustangs, but your inventory is filled with ads about Rally Driving Courses, then your conversion rate will be affected by these related ads.

You could experiment with your site by removing Ads via your adjusting your Competitive Ad Filter. By experimenting with the different range of ads, you may be able to increase your CTR.
Another known method is to block out MFA (Made for Adsense Sites), these sites are generally filled with Adsense and are generally vague and brief on their chosen topic.
Ads blacklist is a tool you can use to block out common ads based on your keywords.

Other areas that affect your Conversion Rate is how your ads appear. Different sites will work with alternative combination’s and that’s where you’ll need to experiment with different positions and sizes and color. Eventually with experimentation you’ll find a formula that will increase your CTR,
Google has provided a hotspot map as a guide to help webmasters.

Adsense Hotspot

Adsense Hotspot

Having Adsense the focus point of your website is used commonly by MFA (made for Adsense websites), The key format is that when a user enters a website they will see nothing but your Adsense.
Below is an example of this formula.

In the long run, this style of page will lose traffic as users will be less inclined to link to towards this style. . Therefore your traffic statistics will gradually decrease. Adsense publishers need to find a balance that will generate an acceptable Conversion ratio but will not deter users from revisiting.

What is a good CTR then?
I cannot answer this for you and this really depends on what you require. Do you require a website purely to make money based on High Traffic Keywords and targeted niches? Perhaps a website to help pay for server bills and your time and you’re not concerned about earnings. Or earnings is an issue but you don’t want to inhibit future users? Each Answer to these questions will be different based on your needs.

To help I’ve created a formula of a conversion rate that which is reflective from publishers thoughts.

0- 1% - Most common rate, the ads are clicked very little. Some tweaking may be needed. Forums generally have this figure with the leaderboard banners and leaderboard’s in the first post.
1- 2.5% - If you’ve got a non intrusive website than this is a good figure to have that should generate good earnings with the right traffic and keywords.
2.5 – 5% - Your Conversion Rate is good and with high traffic, earnings should be substantial.
5% - 7.5% - An exceptional conversion rate, however are your ads intrusive? If not than you’ll be making thousands if you’ve got the traffic and the keyword worth.
+7.5% - I’d be concerned about figures above this if you’re site isn’t MFA, you could be a victim of click fraud. Otherwise congratulations, millions of publishers are envious.
Adsense Conversion Graph
Average Conversion Rate Formula CTR

There you have it, some tips and information that you will give you a better understanding of
Adsense Conversion. After reading this article you should have a better understanding of what Adsense Conversion (CTR) is and how to increase your conversation rate.
Feel free to leave your comments and thoughts on the issue.
